In April of every year, states and communities across the nation celebrate Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month. CAP Month is a time to observe the importance of families and communities to work together to prevent child abuse and neglect and to promote the overall wellbeing of children.

Plant a Pinwheel

In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as a national symbol of great childhoods. Since then, Pinwheels for Prevention campaigns have raised awareness and financial support in communities across the country, reinforcing the need for safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments that help children thrive.

Donate and plant a pinwheel in support of #GrowingBetter together!

Get Involved
